The Necessary Ventures Technologist Community ("NVTC") is a free but selective group of technologists who share an interest in impactful technology. Our Community includes technologists from companies like Facebook, Google, Apple, Lyft, and AirBnB.

Members enjoy opportunities to meet like-minded people and garner support in identifying new volunteer, part-time, and full-time opportunities with social impact. Members also enjoy access to private events with startup and non-profit leaders and investors. Past events include talks with:

Upsolve CEO Rohan Pavaluri. Upsolve makes bankruptcy software that has helped Americans out of $330M+ of primarily medical debt and was named to Time's 100 Best Inventions List.

Kiva CEO Chris Tsakalakis and EVP of Engineering Ken Leung. Kiva has lent over $1.5B+ to refugees, women entrepreneurs, and folks in emergencies.
