Deepa Sheth is a healthcare executive, investor, and advisor dedicated to improving health outcomes and guiding startups with growth and commercial expertise. She most recently served as Chief Corporate Development Officer, Head of Corporate Venture Capital, and Head of Diversified Assets at SCAN, a $5 billion health plan.

As a Senior Vice President at Oak Street Health, Deepa helped scale the value‑based primary care company from its early days through an IPO and subsequent $10.6 billion acquisition by CVS Health, leading M&A, B2B growth, and new lines of business. Prior, she served as a General Manager launching and owning market level P&Ls and leading clinical, growth, and operations teams.

Before joining Oak Street Health, Deepa held product, investing, and strategy roles at Shire (now Takeda), Baxter Healthcare, OCA Ventures, and SRA (now General Dynamics). She has served on the boards of myPlace Health, Healthcare In Action, Welcome Health, and Homebase Medical. A champion for female founders and funders, Deepa mentors underrepresented first‑time entrepreneurs, advocates for more women on cap tables, and sponsors early‑career women. She earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and her BA from George Washington University. Deepa lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Dr. Greg Burrell serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Homeward, a rural health company backed by General Catalyst and ARCH Venture Partners. He previously co-founded Carbon Health, a multi‑state primary, virtual, and urgent care provider, and served as their Vice President of Clinical Strategy and Product. Prior, he was the Vice President of Clinical Solutions and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Accolade, providing care delivery, navigation, and advocacy services to more than 10 million members.

Greg completed his medical training at the University of Chicago and his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he served for nearly ten years as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. He continues to practice as a board certified internal medicine physician. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.

Dr. Nachi Gupta is the former Chief Innovation Officer at Kriya Therapeutics, a leading AAV gene therapy company focused on ophthalmology, neurology, and metabolic diseases. He is also a board certified emergency physician practicing in California. Nachi previously worked at Brevan Howard Asset Management, focusing on G10 FX, commodities, emerging markets, and U.S. economics. Prior, he spent time on the computational and scientific teams for ballistic missile defense at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Hanscom Air Force Base.

Nachi completed his medical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City. He holds an M.D. from Brown University, a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Oxford University, and graduate and undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, and Telecommunications from the University of Pennsylvania.

Nikita Gaurav is a MedTech engineer and healthcare investor with a passion for solving complex problems and advising founders. She brings extensive R&D, manufacturing, and quality‑engineering experience from top companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and Abbott, specializing in orthopedic, cardiac, diabetes, and surgical‑robotic devices.

Nikita’s work has spanned product design and verification, materials science, healthcare AI/ML, manufacturing process development, clinical risk assessment, and regulatory submissions and audits. As an investor, she helps founders bridge their research‑based ideas to clinical market applications. She is passionate about making innovative healthcare products more accessible, equitable, and patient focused.

Nikita graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Materials Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She remains active in STEM education and mentorship through organizations like the Society of Women Engineers and L.A. Works. She has also served as a repeat judge and panelist for MedTech Innovator, the world’s largest life‑science accelerator.

Michael Dempsey is Managing Partner at Compound, a New York–based investment firm focused on AI, robotics, energy, materials science, and crypto. He was a first‑round investor in RunwayML, Wayve, and Prime Intellect.

Previously, he led early stage investments in automation and deep tech at Rothenberg Ventures after producing industry defining research on venture trends and coining the term “Frontier Tech” at CB Insights. He began his career at Crane Partners, a multi‑strategy hedge fund investing across private equity, public equities, derivatives, and venture capital.

Michael holds a B.A. in Economics from New York University and enjoys photography, music, cocktails, and dystopian art.

Adrian James is co‑founder and the former President of Omada Health, a digital‑care company offering clinically effective programs that help people lead healthier lives that completed a successful IPO in 2025.

Adrian previously served as Domain Lead for Medical Products at IDEO after earning his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Dr. Edmondo Robinson is a physician, executive, and investor. He is the founder and CEO of Downeast Digital and a national leader in digital health and innovation with over 25 years of experience in healthcare delivery, management and leadership. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center, one of the world’s premier cancer centers, and Chief Transformation Officer and Senior Vice President of Consumerism at ChristianaCare, one of the largest health systems in the mid-Atlantic. 

Edmondo is a professor of Internal Medicine and Oncologic Science at the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine. His track record as an investor and advisor includes Upstart, Chime, Ramp, Mercury, Albert, Digit, and Restive.

Tom was previously a partner with and general counsel of Nyca Partners, a leading venture capital firm focused on connecting innovative companies to the global financial system. He is a past chair of Paul Hastings’ Competition practice and co-chair of the firm’s Fintech practice. In addition to strategically advising payment systems and financial services clients across a broad spectrum of regulatory issues, he has litigated notable antitrust cases, including class actions.

Prior, Tom served as vice president, senior counsel at Visa U.S.A. Inc. There, he was responsible for managing the aftermath of the settlement in In re Visa Check/MasterMoney Antitrust Litigation, including the dozens of consumer class actions that were filed following the settlement. He was also deeply involved in the company’s transformation from a co-op to a shareholder-owned company. He holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. from Columbia University.

Tess Pawlisch is founder and CEO of Needle PR, a communications agency that champions values driven brands. She has 15 years of experience elevating underrepresented voices from Washington, D.C., to Silicon Valley.

Tess began her career at 15 on the historic recall campaign of Governor Scott Walker, later leading fundraising and communications for high profile political campaigns and nonprofits. In 2019, Tess shifted to mission driven startups and venture capital firms, providing strategic communications support. Since founding Needle PR in 2023, she has worked with clients in artificial intelligence, blockchain, climate, and healthcare.

Komal advises startups on crafting impactful messaging and understanding their social impact. Previously, she worked at Google advising small businesses and agencies. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Girish Krishnaswamy is CEO of Sketchy, a leading ed‑tech company. He previously served as Business Officer for Learning Services at Chegg Inc., one of the world’s largest ed‑tech platforms.
