Deepa Sheth is a healthcare executive, investor, and advisor dedicated to improving health outcomes and guiding startups with growth and commercial expertise. She most recently served as Chief Corporate Development Officer, Head of Corporate Venture Capital, and Head of Diversified Assets at SCAN, a $5 billion health plan.
As a Senior Vice President at Oak Street Health, Deepa helped scale the value‑based primary care company from its early days through an IPO and subsequent $10.6 billion acquisition by CVS Health, leading M&A, B2B growth, and new lines of business. Prior, she served as a General Manager launching and owning market level P&Ls and leading clinical, growth, and operations teams.
Before joining Oak Street Health, Deepa held product, investing, and strategy roles at Shire (now Takeda), Baxter Healthcare, OCA Ventures, and SRA (now General Dynamics). She has served on the boards of myPlace Health, Healthcare In Action, Welcome Health, and Homebase Medical. A champion for female founders and funders, Deepa mentors underrepresented first‑time entrepreneurs, advocates for more women on cap tables, and sponsors early‑career women. She earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and her BA from George Washington University. Deepa lives in Los Angeles with her family.
