Deepa Sheth is a healthcare executive, investor, and advisor dedicated to improving health outcomes and supporting start ups with growth and commercial expertise. She was recently Chief Corporate Development Officer, Head of Corporate Venture Capital, and Head of Diversified Assets for SCAN, a $5B health plan. Previously, at Oak Street Health, Deepa helped grow the value based primary care company as an early teammate, through its IPO, and subsequent $10.6B acquisition by CVS Health. As SVP of Partnerships and Business Development, she led the company's M&A, B2B growth, and new lines of business. Earlier at Oak Street, she served as a General Manager, launching and owning market-level P&Ls and leading clinical, growth, and operations teams.
Prior to Oak Street Health, Deepa held various product, investing, and strategy roles at Shire (now Takeda), Baxter Healthcare, OCA Ventures, and SRA (now General Dynamics). She has served on the boards of myPlace Health, Healthcare In Action, Welcome Health, and Homebase Medical. She is a champion for female founders and funders, spending time mentoring underrepresented first-time founders, getting more women on cap tables, and sponsoring women in their early career journeys.
She earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA from George Washington University. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.
